BTE India was established in 2005 to provide extended services to clients and organisations, and to become a point of excellence for services in Ethical Trade, for the Indian subcontinent.
BTE India believes that:
- Implementing practical and cost effective sustainable improvement to labour standards is still possible within the more complex Indian supply chains.
- We have first-rate, first hand experience working within the private sector and the development sector in India.
- We can provide local on the ground support for sll types of ethicla issues, in Indian supply chain management.
We work in partnership with all stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions to the varied ethical challenges faced in global supply chains.

- By encouraging business to bring improvement in labour standards.
- By working at all levels of supply chain to build systems and tools to deliver true and sustainable improvements in labour standards.
- By engaging, consulting and identifying realistic improvements.
